About PQ
I started Project Queer in February 2010 to get a rise out of the trans* and queer communities. I wanted this rise to be an interest in obtaining knowledge about various communities, our rights, related news/media, and queer culture.
Since then, PQ has become my outlet to inspire, motivate, and help educate fellow activists - and even those who oppose our movement(s).
Project Queer’s posts come from various resources (online and offline alike) - and are in varying formats: video, written article, photo, sound clip, quote, etc.
Within two weeks of starting Project Queer, it became featured on tumblr’s LGBT directory - where it remains. Today, Project Queer has over 27,500 AMAZING followers, friends, and fellow activists.
