Because it’s the same rich white guys who are leading the call to hold us down, so when you ignore intersectionality, you’re making them a little stronger, strength they will gladly use to tighten their grip on all of our throats. That’s why if you’re failing at including homosexuals, the disabled, or trans* people, I get just as pissed as I would if you were ignoring black people.
