Equalize is an organization that aims to educate music fans about LGBTQ issues and give them the tools to create positive change in their own communities. The organization was founded in 2009 after going to Warped Tour and finding that no queer organizations were represented in the social action area. The owner knew that they were not the only fan there that cared about equality, so they started the organization to pull together other people like them and our allies and to get people talking about these issues.
Fast forward three years later and we are finally on the verge of doing our first big stint with Warped! However, they need your help! If Equalize can raise $2500 by June 24th, they will be able to talk to literally thousands of music fans during a week of Warped Tour on the east coast.
Can you donate to their fundraiser? Spread the word!

I just started a Tumblr called the Trans*ition Fund Collective. It’s made to highlight the projects of trans* individuals fundraising for their transition while sharing some awesome trans*-friendly products and resources. Submissions are always welcome! Please reblog and spread the word?

Hello everyone,
Riley here with a bit of a personal update. For all of those who are not aware, I created this blog - Project Queer.
Recently, I added a widget to the side of Project Queer’s home page in order to raise funds for my top surgery. You can read more about my personal story here. And, if possible, you can donate here.
If you have any questions or comments, I can be contacted at my personal blog or here: projectqueer@yahoo.com
Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated, and to those who simply spread the word. Every single like, reblog, and dollar gets me closer to my goal. I appreciate everyone’s support.
Peace & love,
I’m selling purple wristbands that say “human.” They’re $5 each — all proceeds go to my top surgery fund. I’ve sold these to people all over the world and being able to say that is amazing. It’s really neat to think that people all over are wearing them. If you’d like to help me reach my goal by buying one, just send me a message saying so (www.brennando.tumblr.com/ask). It would help me out greatly. Thank you. =)
I just want to say thank you to the people who have bought wristbands so far. Your support is greatly appreciated, and I hope you all like your wristbands! <3
Love mine!
