SUBMISSION: Change
The past seven months have shown me the most amount of change in my life so far.
I finally got over the girl I was in love with for seven years, I broke up with my boyfriend of two and a half years, began doing some readings into Queer Theory, realized I was pansexual and not bisexual, made the move towards gender neutral pronouns and descriptors, and became a part of my local Pride Centre (both on campus and off).
It has been a rough past year, trying to figure out what I wanted out of myself. I wanted to thank blogs such as this one for being the push and support that I needed to get my life moving in the direction that I want it to. Hearing stories about others within the queer community and knowing what strength they have is giving me the courage to consider coming out to my own family.
I have met many amazing people in these past few months, and I feel more safe and at home than I ever have before. As well, my amazing friends are accepting these changes and trying to incorporate some of the queer-friendly ideals that I am encouraging them to use.
So once again, I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you so very much for the kind words, friend.
There really is no need to thank me for such things. It is a pleasure for me to help others in their times of need - however I possibly can. It always makes me smile knowing that I can help others find support and solidarity. It feels awesome to be able to bring like-minded folks together to create something positive.
Feel free to contact me whenever you would like. <3
Sincerely,

Hello everyone,
Sofia Loren Zombi here. Some of you may have noticed that I have placed a few ads on the Project Queer tumblr page. (If not, these ads are currently located at the top and bottom of the page.) I have placed these ads here on Project Queer due to the fact that I have been having some financial difficulties as of late.
In order to keep Project Queer up and running efficiently, I have created the ads with hopes to raise a little more money to help with my every day necessities. If you would like to help Project Queer (and myself), all you need to do is click on any of the ads on the Project Queer homepage. You can click any number of times that you like. The more clicks, the more money I can raise for future projects. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, folks.
If enough money is raised, I will not have to acquire a second job. Also, I would like to eventually start an etsy for Project Queer with pro-queer, feminist, and other positive human rights merchandise including pins, patches, zines, etc. The proceeds from the etsy will be donated to various lgbtq+ friendly organisations like Amnesty International, Equality Illinois, and the Human Rights Campaign. Again, any and all help is appreciated.
Thank you to all who follow and spread the word about Project Queer. With your help, I hope to spread the word about human rights issues and news.
Sincerely,
PROJECT QUEER is 90 followers away from hitting 10,000.
Let’s see if we can hit 10,000 by the end of the day.
If you support lgbtqiaa+ rights, feminism, and human rights in general, please re-blog and spread the word.
RE-BLOG THIS IF YOU SUPPORT LGBTQ RIGHTS!

Monosexism:
Promoting the idea that mono-sexuality is the one and only legitimate or acceptable sexual orientation. This can be either exclusively straight, or exclusively gay/lesbian. The targeted group is anybody between the two, such as bisexuals, pansexuals, or any other sexually fluid identity.
PROJECT QUEER:
Sofia Loren Zombi here,
While I personally only feel SEXUAL attraction to women, and exclusively identify as a lesbian - I do believe that it is language like this ‘monosexism’ that is detrimental to the acceptance of peoples’ sexualities. I dislike labels. I dislike the fact that some people feel the need to label anything and everything so as to better ‘understand’ it or lump it into a category. SOMETIMES I even dislike referring to myself as a lesbian just because of the stupid stereotypes that come with the title.
Now, I did not want to rant so my point is basically this:
It is MY belief that everyone is inherently pansexual. That is, they are attracted to human beings regardless of their gender or sex. I can wholeheartedly admit that I have and am attracted to some males. Does it mean that I will sleep with them? No. Does it mean that I am wrong in identifying as a lesbian? No. Does it mean that sexuality is a choice? Hell fucking no. It means that I admire both men and women for some reason(s) or another - and that is that.
The day that people can admit to being open about their sexuality and identity will not only relieve MUCH tension in the world, but also open MANY closed minds...
